“When I lived on a tiny cabin on a pond, the nightly symphony of frogs would sing into the night. I remembered my little treefrog friend I played with as a young child and the frogs I would catch and release at Frog Lake. Frog medicine was calling and after experiencing my first Kambo session, I knew I wanted to deepen my relationship with this immensely profound and powerful spirit medicine.

I found myself feeling lethargic, depressed and listless for a month after experiencing covid. It felt like a thick, dense, black haze was shrouding my entire being and the life was being sucked out of me. One single kambo treatment reset my being and lifted the dark fog away. The Amazonians call this dark energy “Panema”.

Frog medicine is connected to water energy, the element I am most connected to. I was born between the fishes and the water bearer and known as a water baby; a mermaid; a lifeguard. Frog energy is deeply cleansing to our souls. It is also connected to the womb, the space that has been the focal point of my personal journey. Deep in the watery, dark depths of the womb is where all of life is created and from this empty void, creations are birthed. Kambo cleanses our energetic field and purifies our body so that we can be rebirthed again. By clearing out what no longer serves us, this alchemical process creates a new spaciousness within us so that we may fill those new spaces with what we truly desire. Life-death-rebirth has been my continuous path of devotion for my own transformation and inner knowing. A frog medicine person can clean negativity from any environment. Frog speaks of new life, replenishment and harmony, and like frog, we are asked to know when it is time to refresh, purify and refill the coffers of our soul” (Sams, Carson).
